Sources
These are the official pages behind the rates, thresholds and examples on AfterTaxSalary. Each figure on the site is calculated in code from these sources, recorded in our fact-check ledger with the date we checked it, and recomputed by automated tests before each update goes live. The 2026/27 tax year is the default; 2027/28 figures announced in Budget 2026 are labelled as future rates. See how we calculate take-home pay and our editorial standards.
